Delete Account

This page explains how to delete your Rhythm Lingo account and learning data, and what limited information may be retained after deletion.

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Sign in to the Rhythm Lingo app.
  2. Open the Settings screen from the Profile tab.
  3. Select "Delete Account" in the account section.
  4. Review the notice and confirm the deletion request.

For security reasons, you may be asked to sign in again with the same account before the deletion can be completed.

2. If you cannot access the app

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email. Include the email address you used to sign up or the sign-in provider details so we can verify ownership of the account.

3. Data that is deleted

  • Account profile information
  • Learning progress, answer history, saved sentences, and favorites
  • Device-specific push tokens and reminder settings

4. Information that may be retained for a limited time

  • Payment receipt records maintained by app stores (for example, Apple App Store)
  • Minimum records required for legal compliance, dispute handling, or abuse prevention

Any retained information is limited to what is required by applicable law or by payment platform policies.

5. Subscription notice

If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately in the app store on your device. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your store subscription.
